As people move in or out of cities, the pressure on housing stocks increases or decreases from time to time. Many cities face crippling shortages in housing, forcing many of its residents to live without homes, or to commute for hours to get to work every day. In many cities, there is a misallocation of housing resources, with many empty homes coexisting with a large number of homeless urban dwellers.
We aim to critically analyse these issues in order to promote efficient allocation of housing resources, while focussing on sustainability in the built environment.
